Peaks-Kenny State Park

Francis Peaks donated the land in memory of his parents and sister.

The park is located six miles north of Dover-Foxcroft on the South Cove of Sebec Lake.

Camping, swimming, picnicking, and hiking is available. Three modern wash rooms with coin operated hot showers serve the camping area. Campsites are large and well spaced, a trailer dump station is available.

The campground normally fills to capacity on Friday and Saturday in July and August.
Campsite reservations during June, July, August, and early September may be. made by calling:

Reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance and there is a two night minimum.
The phone is staffed Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 3:00PM

The day - use area has 50 picnic sites with grills, a lifeguard protected swimming area, playground, and hiking trails.

During June, July, and August the day - use area fills to capacity on weekends during good weather. The area occasionally fills on weekdays as well. Once the area fills a waiting line is established. To avoid waiting in line we suggest arriving before 11:00AM .

Pets are permitted provided they are leashed at all times.

Peaks-Kenny State Park opens May 15th and closes on September 30th.

The day - use area is open from 9:00 AM until Sunset.

The main entrance gate is open from 7:00 AM until 10:00 PM.
